We are delighted that the Champion Connemara Performance Stallion FINCHAMPSTEAD CURTAIN CALL will be returning for 2002 His last season standing at Knowle Rock.

This Champion M&M, WHP and Performance stallion continues to be a most successful sire of pure & partbred stock. He is a proven working pony talented in many fields. All his progeny possess his lovely temperament and versatility.
This coming season of 2002 will see this well-known Connemara stallion make a last trip from his winter home, now in Northumberland, back to his summer quarters at Knowle Rock. Curtain Call first tookup duties in the care of the Turners in 1992 having previously stood at Furze Hill Stud. This will be his 9th successive season standing with us.
This talented and most lovable stallion, so typical of his breed, has over the years won the hearts of many. He has sired consistently good sound and athletic stock from all types of mare, in particular thoughbreds. This cross has invariably produced real performers with the T.B's speed and scope.
Across the previous 9 seasons 'Curtain Call's fertility has never droped below 90%, and last season all his mares went home in foal! All good things come to an end, however, and it is felt that now his home for 7 months of the year is in the north.
So there it is ............ if you have ever thought of sending a mare to him then now is the time to do it. He will be back "holding court" for the last time at Knowle Rock at the beginning of January 2002.
